I am very sorry guys for the lack of updates.. ;__; My laptop had been very iffy but now it's fixed. Thank you Lord, thank you ;__;

Today, I had the time to watch a lot of shows I've missed for nearly 3 weeks! As you all know I am a variety dork and I seriously try to watch everything. I do try to filter it though and one place I like going to is Dramabeans. I usually read Running Man screencaps there. (They have 1N2D also but I usually watch 1N2D and read Running Man haha.)

Anyways! What caught my eye today was their Variety Roulette post featuring We Got Married.

I seriously have not watched WGM for month so I read on. If you have watched it continue to the comments section, but if you have not, you can read too because javabeans & girlfriday are funnnny and then continue to the comments section.

The discussion began with a reader asking everyone if they know a couple or season that was any good? The replies would make you so proud--- as there were so many that were touched by the Ssangchu Couple. It's this thing where you feel like 'I actually read this from a place that is not a Ssangchu related website!'

I really felt so proud as a fan because a lot of the readers had our Shillang & Buin as their favorite couple. Or to them was the most realistic.. Or the couple that they felt had the connection..

Then they talked about how Hwangbo was so cool, and how Hyunjoong was adorably awkward but both made their age gap work, and from awkward became the most sincere relationship WGM had ever had...

It's like hearing it for the first time even if I have always known it, you know what I mean? It's like everytime someone tells me how Ssangchu made them feel. I also feel the same way, but hearing about it makes it 500x bigger.. It's gonna be their 4th Anniversary soon but I still feel their heart everytime I watch Joongbo episodes. I feel it everytime.

I will seriously never get tired of it. And that again is another surreal thing!!

It's been nearly 4 years?! What?! I feel like it was just yesterday...

and the Ssangchu Effect is still there?

and there are still more people being introduced to Ssangchu episodes?

It's surreal.. and seriously.. I can go on and on...

It's like I am always reminded that that I am basically a fan of the awesomest couple in TV history!! Like, seriously, THE. awesomest. couple. in TV history!!!! And how cool is that?!

Wow, it's been awhile since the the last update. We're so sorry here at Ssangchu Heaven.

Real life kind of does have a funny way of interring in all the fun things we would like to do.

Regardless of the lack of updates, it doesn't seem to stop our devoted Joongbo family from visiting.

It's always good to see the chat box always full of chatter and "spazzes."

In the States, Thanksgiving has just come and gone.

Most of us are still recovering from the massive feast and "BLACK FRIDAY"

With pre-orders opening for limited edition copies of Kim Hyun Joong‘s ‘Lucky Guy’ album, fans rushed to online sites to purchase their copy.

Not only was the album completely sold out for pre-order, the flood of fans logging in at once caused servers to crash.

Key East Entertainment stated that the limited edition album was created to express Kim Hyun Joong’s gratitude for the fans who’ve shown his album much love. The limited edition album will contain merchandise decorated with Kim Hyun Joong’s official character ‘U:ZOOSIN’ and 50 pages of never-before-seen photos.

Fans have already petitioned for a release of more pre-orders, since many were unable to purchase theirs in advance with the servers crashing.

Kim Hyun Joong recently held a press conference revealing that he has signed with Universal Music Japan, and announced the expected release date of his first Japanese solo album.

The star had his first showcase in Japan on November 7th, and has been receiving numerous “love calls” from big record labels since then. Out of all the offers he received, Kim Hyun Joong decided to go with Universal Music, the label that houses Korean artists like SNSD, KARA, B2ST, 4minute, and Supernova.
Universal Music stated, “His powerful performance during his showcase in July left an impression. Kim Hyun Joong has a unique charm that is hard to find in other Korean idol groups that are currently promoting in Japan, so we’re sure his solo activities in Japan will be successful.”

Kim Hyun Joong will be touring around 8 more cities after his first concert in Osaka on the 9th, and will release his first Japanese solo album on January 25th of next year.

With our Buin's musical Nunsensation coming up, I thought it would be a wonderful idea if siblings who chat at SH could together, send our Buin flowers for her special day.

One day we started talking about it among ourselves in the chatbox, and decided why not? We felt like we had a Ssangchu mission. It was during this time, someone had mentioned other HB fans sending flour wreaths, we were like, rice wreaths? This an awesome idea, so I asked other siblings if they were interested in the project, they could email BabyG.

Haha..I thought I was being sneaky here. I mean, I was hoping she would be in charge of the project, but for some reason I got that end of the stick, how did that happen, keke..

The day finally arrived to place our order, this was a very scary thing, as I have never dealt with anything foreign.

But the happy feeling knowing we were doing something very close to our Buin's heart, just knowing she could donate the rice to the charity of her choice, was an awesome feeling.

After the wreaths were delivered, her manager twitted a pic on twitter (10/18/2011).
That's when we were like OMG! which one is ours?
The tremendous excitement we all felt, that feeling, that HIGH, was a great feeling.

Our Buin tweeted to thank everyone for the rice wreaths, and get this, our Buin instantly knew where she was gonna donate the rice (an orphanage) why would it be any place else, as we know our Buin loves children, and OMG! *tears*

I think all in all, the best part of this mission, when our Buin posted in her Cyworld the photo of the wreaths along with the words "Thank U, TO THE WORLD", now how awesome is that, how significant are these words to JBer's?

And oh, just wanting to keep in the spirit of JoongBo, thinking of Mt.Halla, the ribbons say, To Our Gift From God "Hwangbo" Congratulations and Ssangchu Heaven Blogspot.com International Fans.

Finally, I wanna say thank you to Babyg, missgayda/Z, Hersheys, Gaga#2 (LOL) skullcandy and ellyze, because without them this mission would have not been possible. But really thanks to everyone who come to chat at Ssangchu Heaven, because without you, the place wouldn't be as special as it is.

I pride myself on not being easily impressed with love stories.....
Especially the ones that everyone enjoys swooning over.
Honestly, I spend a lot of time poking fun of them and actually feeling superior about it.
I often find them mediocre and far too cheesy. So...away from them I try to stay.
I normally would never watch something like WGM.
But somehow I was roped into watching an episode of it...
By the time I was done with just two episodes, I was invested in their story.
Their strange chemistry...their extremely awkward friendship...all of it made me smile.
There were so many moments that left impressions in my mind
but there is one episode I always catch myself going back to.....The Farewell Episode.
Maybe it's the background music, maybe it's the stuff being said, maybe it's just them...
but this episode resonates as one of the sweetest things I've ever watched or heard.
I believe it's the honesty and the sincerity that makes this episode so heart warming.
I wasn't sad that they were "breaking up" but rather because the end of the show meant
that they were parting with a friend that understood their heart.

I know my favorite line from this episode...which lines made you tear up??

Our two favorite people have been making headlines lately!

It’s been one of those weeks.

You’ve had those, right?

Where nothing is going the way you want it?

I’ve been coming home late from work tired and frustrated.

Frankly, I’ve been very bad company.

Tommy was smart enough to leave me alone.

I take that back. My moodiness was what probably scared him away for the day.

He left a note saying he was “playing ball” with his boys.

Underneath the note was a dvd disc labeled “your medication.”

I was curious enough to see what the idiot was up to this time.

Surprisingly enough, it was the Farewell Journey/Sudden Olympics episode.

Not that I could ever forget, but KHJ & HB together, they were so much fun.

It didn’t take but a minute before I caught myself smiling.

And that’s how he found me…in front of the TV laughing my tired ass off.

Afterwards, I asked him why he chose that particular episode.

“Because this is the episode that showed just how well your boy knew her," he said.

"What ever they are now, they were friends then and they got each other.

You’re my wife now but you’ll always be my friend first.

We get each other. I figured if this doesn’t work, I’m screwed.

Btw, if this shows up on the blog tonight try not to make me sound like a lameass.”

i was asked how i felt about this pairing since there's an article that they looked romantic on set.. well if the concept of the cf is a couple, they should be right? xD

Recently I haven’t even written my excuse of being so busy here…..because I’ve forgotten my I.D and my password, so I couldn’t write a message…… Anyway this is just an excuse, therefore I’m giving all of you photos of what I’ve been up to recently as a present.

Finally my second album is done ^^ On 20 October I’ll try my best to make it the best stage. Don’t give ten of thousands of anticipation but please give it a hundred thousand of anticipation. Everyone please do it within your comfy zone of support, okay?????????

Tomorrow I’ll be filming the music video. I hope you’ll anticipate this amazing video ^^ I’m thankful and because tomorrow I will be filming from midnight onwards, meanwhile I’ll watch a movie and try to get some sleep.

So, please be mindful of not catching a cold and everyone, until the 20th, please recharge yourself, because there will be 3 weeks of promotional activities … ^^;;;

Because we must have fun fully for a short time………… thank you all for giving me so much intangible power that I can always rely on during my hard times ^^

Kim Hyun Joong recently concluded his Asian Tour where he visited seven different countries across Asia, including Japan, China, and Thailand. In conjunction with this tour, he conducted various charity auction events at the local tour locations. All the proceeds from these auction events were donated to charity.

An official at Kim Hyun Joong’s agency, ‘Key East‘ stated, “We conducted an auction on each of the stops for Kim Hyun Joong’s Asian Tour. The total proceeds from the 7 country tour amounted to $100,000 and he sent all the proceeds to charity so it can be used to help the less fortunate. Hallyu star Kim Hyun Joong thought about how to repay all of his fans for the love he has received all over Asia and it was his idea to repay his heartfelt gratitude through this auction“.

It was reported that Kim Hyun Joong donated personable autographed memorabilia including t-shirts, shoes, albums, and various other items for the auction.

Since finishing his Asian tour, Kim Hyun Joong now plans to spend some time with his family for Chuseok. He’s also in preparations to release his second album at the end of the year.

When I'm having a bad week or even a bad day,

I always catch myself re-watching another Joongbo episode.

Their laughter is like my medicine for an otherwise crappy day.

On one particular night, I put on the farewell episode.

Oddly enough, I was surprised to hear them talking about the London Olympics.

Wow....has it been that long ago since the last episode?

The 2012 Olympics is right around the corner.

So much...yet so little has happened since then....

I mentioned this to SH...to which she said...

It doesn't seem like it all since Joongbo memories are like everyday...

I guess that's what happens when you leave a lasting impression.

And Joongbo has definitely done that, don't you think??

Regardless of their current or past status...

I'm just glad they've given me a few laughs in between!!!!

This last Monday was the debut of Hwangbo on the sitcom Oh My God,

which many of you fans tuned in for the live streaming.

The ratings apparently increased during this particular episode.

So what did you guys think??? Did you love it?

I originally elected to wait until the subtitles all came out before I watched it

but LVK convinced me that subtitles were not needed to see

how great Hwangbo's comedic timing was.

After watching the first episode, I would have to agree.

She seems comfortable enough in her new role.

Everything looks pretty good for Hwangbo lately.

Let's hope everything stays that way!!

Kim HyunJoong left Taiwan on 17 August, around 200 over fans squeezed in the airport to send their idol off, he made his stop in Taiwan for 4 days 3 night, the number of luggages he had were massive, he said that inside all those luggages were gifts he received from Taiwan fans, he had specially reminded his staff to pack all back, not leaving back even a single gift.

Because of Kim HyunJoong's consideration for his fans, his check-in luggages were overweight 121kg, and need to pay more than NT42000 (Around S$2100). His staff said, although knowing that he will need to pay the fines, Kim HyunJoong still insisted to bring the gifts along with him. Since young his family was not very well off, so he has caltivated a bit of being thrifty, but because of fans' love gifts, he doesn't feel heart pain, but smile briliantly.

During Kim HyunJoong's visit in Taiwan, he had an exclusive interview with MTV channel 'JK Music Craze' MC Calvin Chen.

He said that his hobby is playing soccer and revealed that he has joined a Korean Celebrity Soccer team, and would gather his celebrity friends to rent a soccer field to play all they want.

On the 6th broadcast of 2TV "Performing Arts Live" (literally trans from Chinese) Kim Hyun Joong who was still having his album activities, in regards to his abs muscles, "Was very eager & in haste to build up my body, when at home, I lift weights, went toilet did 10 times, came out did another 10 times, kept practicing continuously. During that time, I was too seriously practicing that the blisters on my palm that were formed that time were still very obvious now." He even showed to everyone.

He claims that "Abs muscles are actors & singers basic options." During the program Kim Hyun Joong even broke the news that "before he dies, he wants to get the body build of RAIN in "Ninja Assassins", and he will hit that goal before he reach his 30s.

Kim Hyun Joong will be coming here with his 2nd solo mini album that is estimated to be released this fall. SS501’s Kim Hyun Joong confessed that he was dumped by his past for calling her his ex-girlfriend’s name.

Kim Hyun Joong appeared on the radio show for the 26th, SBS Power FM (107.7 Mhz) Kwang Hee and Yewon’s Young Street Summer Special. Kim Hyun Joong stated, “I’ve called my past girlfriend my ex-girlfriend’s name and broke up, he said her name without thinking several times and the past girlfriend gave me a cold look.”

He continued, “I was also used to my ex-girlfriend’s likes and pointed at foods she liked to my past girlfriend saying ‘you like this, have some. We ended breaking up because of that incident.”

Kim Hyun Joong also talked about how the past girlfriend got revenge, “This particular girlfriend also plotted revenge on me by calling me her ex-boyfriends name and also suggesting things that the ex-boyfriend liked, it really ticked me off. Most men are indifferent to these things but after going through hit first hand I know what the issue is.”

On July 26th, SS501’s Kim Hyun Joong guested on KBS Joy’s ‘Lee Sora’s Second Propose‘ and revealed that he was in a relationship for three years.

Kim Hyun Joong began, “I’m a human being as well, so I did have quite a few people that I liked. The longest relationship I was in lasted three to four years. We’ve broken up, though.”

He went on to reveal that he was bad at expressing his emotions. “I don’t greet her if I like her a lot. I feel like it’ll be obvious that I like her if I say anything, so I purposely avoid it. Still, I make sure to sing a special song for her when we go for company get-togethers at a karaoke. …But it’s always at the end of the day, so she’s asleep.”

He continued, “I don’t want to lose her, so I’ll be more enthusiastic with my actions. I’ll try to come up with a coincidental meeting and naturally fit myself in. When I confess, I ask questions like, ‘Do you want to see a movie with me or do you want to just end it here today?’ If she says yes to the movie date, then it means we’re dating.”

Kim Hyun Joon had also previously revealed that his last relationship was five months ago.

Kim Hyun Joong shares his imprisoned story while vacationing in Jeju Island

SBS’s “Strong Heart” held a “King of Kings” special on the June 21st broadcast. During this recording, SS501’s Kim Hyun Joong confessed an interesting story titled, “Kim Hyun Joong’s incarceration incident.”

Back in 2007, Kim Hyun Joong went to a nightclub with some acquaintances while on vacation in Jeju Island. He revealed, “I was even singing while playing, but when I get drunk, my downfall is that I get really sleepy. I had to use the restroom, so I left briefly to go to the restroom. However, I don’t recall anything that happened after that.”

When he woke up from his sleep, Kim Hyun Joong first checked his text messages. His cell phone was off and when he turned it on, he had over 100 missed calls. After this, he was about to go back to sleep, but he suddenly realized that he couldn’t remember where he was. Because it was dark and he couldn’t see anything in front of him,
Kim Hyun Joong thought he might have been kidnapped and told himself to stay calm.

He turned on his cell phone again to try and use the light to see what was in front of him, but after a second, his cell phone turned off again. He put on his shoes and started to touch the items in front of him.

Kim Hyun Joong revealed, “I went back and forth touching the things in the room, but I felt a lot of buttons. When I pressed the buttons, they felt familiar. I thought to myself, ‘Ah, this is the room from last night.” The buttons were from the karaoke machine.

As it turned out, when Kim Hyun Joong came back from the restroom, he accidently went into the wrong karaoke room in the club and fell asleep. His friends thought that Kim Hyun Joong went back to his dorm early, so they left the nightclub. After, Kim Hyun Joong tried to exit the club, but the doors were locked and the phone inside the nightclub only had extension features.

Kim Hyun Joong started to worry a bit more, but he finally got the door to open and escaped. However, when he came outside, he realized that his hair was a mess and he had no money. He tried to make a toll-free call to his friends, but his friends didn’t pick up the phone because they were all asleep.

Kim Hyun Joong stated, “Because my dorm was 40km (around 25 miles) away, I just sat on the street. I was just a beggar” – causing much laughter in the studio. Those around him joked around and stated, “You’re a flower-beggar,” playing on his title as a “flower boy” from “Boys over Flowers“.

Kim Hyun Joong's Advice to Nuna Fans

Kim Hyun Joong sent a special message to his older female fans during a guerilla interview on Saturday’s KBS “Entertainment Weekly.” He was asked to give a special message to his massive older female fan base, also known as “nuna fans” in Korea, and he responded, “A lot of nuna fans say they want to get married to me, but if they find the right person, I hope they get married soon.”

During the interview, Kim Hyun Joong touched upon a number of different topics. When asked about getting married, he said, “I wanted to get married before 30, but I realized it’s not going to happen any time soon. I thought I would be living as a grown-up, but the older I get I feel like I’m moving away from an adult life.”

He also said the most memorable female partner in his dramas so far was Han Chae Young from KBS “Boys Over Flowers.” But he gave her a rather cute video message saying, “If you’re watching this at home, please invest 500 won ($0.50) in buying my songs.”

Kim Hyun Joong also shared his experience working with Bae Yong Joon, the head of his agency Key East Management. “I think guys talk is pretty obvious. We usually talk about our past girl friends and stuff. I think it’s okay for me to still be single now, but Bae Yong Joong shouldn’t be. He needs to get married soon, and I would like to help him do so.”

Saturday’s guerilla interview took place at the popular Hongik University area. Kim Hyun Joong’s appearance nearly paralyzed the streets as thousands of fans rushed to the scene. It was later revealed the crowd was by far the largest size from this year’s guerilla interviews.

On the most recent episode of SBS’s ”Night After Night”, Kim Hyun Joong shared some interesting details about his school days.

The host asked the singer if he did well in school. Kim Hyun Joong wittily replied, “I was the type to stay average, so I didn’t do too horribly. No matter how little I studied, there were always eight people ranked below me.”

He added, “Because I did soccer, I fell behind in class. I was scared my teacher would call my parents, so I stole the attendance book one day and threw it down the crevice in the elevator at my apartment.”

Kim also talked a bit about his flirting style during his school days: “I had a girl I liked, so I didn’t talk to any other female classmates.”

On June 14th, SS501 leader Kim Hyun Joong dropped by SBS Power FM’s “Choi Hwa Jung’s Power Time” for an interview, during which he openly confessed that he dated a female celebrity for approximately ten months.

When DJ Choi Hwa Jung asked, “Have you ever shown any interest to a female celebrity, or have you received a confession from them?”, Kim Hyun Joong responded, “Yes, it’s true.”

Two months ago, ex-Fly to the Sky member, and now solo-singer, Brian Joo made his return to the K-pop industry for the first time in a year with his mini-album, “Unveiled“. The singer officially concluded his comeback promotions on the June 10th episode of KBS’s “Music Bank” and an interview with TV Daily.

On the topic of fellow singer Kim Hyun Joong, who recently made his own solo debut with “Break Down“, Brian stated, “I was overcome with an unexplainable feeling when I saw him perform solo, since I’m used to him working in a group. I expected him to go on stage with his other members, so it felt a bit awkward seeing him alone. Still, his performance was excellent. His song is great and his choreography is also powerful.”

He continued, “I once MC’d on a music program with him but we’ve since gone our separate paths and forgot to keep in touch. It was nice seeing him again, and we promised to keep in touch and see each other more often.”

Kim Hyun Joong has returned as a solo artist and gave a word of thanks to his fans with tears pouring from his eyes.

On June 7th, after his mini-album “Break Down” release showcase was over, he read a letter that he wrote from his heart to his fans.

He pulled out a letter and stated, “I’ve always been able to show my outer-self on stage, but I’ve never been able to show my heart to them. But I’ve finally gained enough courage to write this letter to share my feelings with my fans”.

Kim Hyun Joong read, “It’s already been 6 years since I’ve met every one. I thank you for believing in me and cheering for me all this time and never changing,” and he confessed, “I started looking back while I was working on the album. I realized how important the meaning of ‘together’ is”.

He continued, “I started feeling pressure and fear as I was trying to do this alone. It was hard to defeat this… I looked back over the past year, fans fighting and misunderstandings, only being able to watch over the situation made me think to myself, ‘I guess I have limits, too,” as his eyes started tearing.

He ended by saying, “I worked hard on the album by imagining how happy the fans would be looking at it. I hope that you will all be smiling and be even happier in the future” and added, “This album is not mine, but belongs to everyone. I’m very thankful to everyone that showed up here, and I want to tell everyone with my heart that I love you”.
