Hi, this is DSP media.
There has been a lot of speculation about the current situation and we would like to clarify the matter.
Please refer (to statement below).
Last weekend, 5 and 6 September, SS501’s Leader Kim Hyun Joong participated in promotional events for KBS-TV drama ‘Boys Over Flowers’ in Yokohama. During which, some health problems had arose.
He was scheduled to attend Hanryu Fodue recording before BOF event on 6 September. However, due to slight fever and headache, he did not attend the recording and had taken a rest. As his condition got better, he managed to perform on that stage, keeping the promise he made to the fans and displaying fighting spirit.
He was scheduled to return on Korea on 7 September at 12 p.m. However, in the morning of 7 September, he developed high fever and was sent to the emergency room. He was then diagnosed with swine influenza (H1N1).
Kim Hyun Joong is currently admitted in a hospital in Japan and was prescribed Tamiflu by doctors. His condition has turned for the better after receiving treatment, and requires more rest. His condition is still under observation.
Official staff and local staff of DSP media have been sent to keep a close eye on his condition. He will return to Korea as soon as his condition gets better.
There is no confirmation about his attendance of upcoming scheduled events.
*It was informed that the moment, his condition has improved greatly.
It has been confirmed that there will be changes to his schedule.
We will announce the new schedule once it has been arranged.

I guess there are many fans who are worried when they read the news about HyunJoong getting H1N1 yesterday.
HyunJoong’s condition has improved at the moment,
YoungSaeng, KyuJong, JungMin, HyungJoon are currently healthy without any symptoms of H1N1,
But they will be going for examination today, just in case.
There are many enquiries to the confirmed schedules due to this sudden news of HyunJoong
I shall let you know of the adjusted schedules that we’ve done so far.
For 9/11 (Fri) Drama Awards & 9/13 (Sun) KBS Special (Shenyang) Schedule
Inevitably, HyunJoong would not be able to attend, we had decided that only YoungSaeng, KyuJong and HyungJoon will attend.
For 9/11 (Fri) Drama Awards, we had originally planned for HyunJoong receiving award and SS501’s congratulatory performance,
We have arranged for YoungSaeng, KyuJong, HyungJoon to receive the award on behalf of HyunJoong,
And have their congratulatory performance (U R Man + Because I am stupid).
Even though HyunJoong would not be able to receive the award personally, we had prepared fanclub seats, so hope that many would still go for these meaningful seats to support and congratulate HyunJoong’s win for the award!!

I think, DSP has a hand in getting KHJ's condition vulnerable to H1N1. He and his bandmates were already dead tired from preparing for their Asia concert which made their immune system weak. Add to that stupid killer appearances schedule running around Asia without even sufficient rests, it was not a surprise that KHJ got the virus. Now, DSP is scrambling and nervous because their cash cow has gotten sick.
I hope KHJ would slow down. He's still young, he's popular. He can afford to rest even just a bit. He should not let DSP dictate too much of his life.
