This is the video uploaded by a lot of fan groups for Hyunjoong. I really don't know what to say about this issue right now. What do you guys think? Is it too much or the right thing to do?

Im not sure either. But one thing for sure, this will create an unpleasant atmosphere between HJ and DSP and also the boys. Sigh...
It's been a rough year for the Korean entertainment industry with slave contracts often in the news and the government starting slowly starting to look at the mess. Jang JaYeon's suicide, TVXQ members standing together to dispute their slave contracts, 2pm's Jaebum getting forced out. Huh? Jaebum? Yes...all signs point to an engineered dump - the company puts years of investment into these kids, and the fans were willing to forgive a 4-year old juvenile outburst. The producer wouldn't let go of that considerable investment unless they had some very compelling behind-the-scenes reason to do so, and the only reason compelling enough is fear that he or his family were starting to make TVXQ noises, so get rid of him before a problem develops.
It's clear that the public and the fans are starting to "get it", and they don't like it! It's a drag on their enthusiasm and a disruption to the flow of product and events, plus it's morally bad fish. Already one of the posters here has wondered if HJs management is trying to put the brakes on his market value. When mistrust starts to poison the waters, it's no surprise the fans start acting like over-vigilant mother tigers. And, sadly, they might just be right!
Nobody can deny the producer companies are very controlling and even abusively dictatorial. I don't think it's a bad thing for there to be some voices at the opposite extreme. It takes a lot of tension to push old customs into fresh paths; the old always fights hard against change. As a non-Korean complete outsider, I feel like things really are starting to change in Korean culture and business to a bit more fluid, egalitarian outlook. There's always some degree of violence to such a big change - suicide, betrayal, back-stabbing - as the old powers try to hang on tooth and nail to their old privileges, and as entertainers and the public both keep finding the courage - and sometimes the foolhardiness - to keep pushing doors open.
Yeah, the fan video is disturbing, but only because everybody would rather not have a rocking boat. But the boat IS rocking and telling it like it is will be the fastest remedy. I think the video is OK. Healthy, even.
really i dont understand, from the moment this issue was released, i think its ridiculous! maybe because their culture is different from mine, but getting this scandal because he attended a birthday of someone not so popular with the masses? what the??
I agree with the last post. This opinion is from an outsider and a fan. I'm not Korean, but I saw BOF online. I thought that KHJ couldn't act at all, so I tried to research who this robotic orange/blond boy is and found subbed WGM episodes. I got converted from a hater to a fan. However, why this is a great issue, perplexes me.
At the end of the day, really, what is the big deal? I thought he is an entertainer, not a politician. I hope these vigilant tiger moms band together for something that matters more, such as freedom of speech and expression, so the entire population (I love KHJ in WGM, but he's only one person) regardless of their profession can attend whatever party they want or have to attend.
Also, this incident sheds light to how fabricated stars images are. Pop stars/actors have lives of their own, they have their own politics, ethics, romance, etc. just like anyone. Their public identity took their respective companies several years to cultivate, so don't take every answer to an interview question or wink so seriously. He and his company are behaving like normal human beings, saving their own asses. He confessed bec. he doesn't want to be associated as a liar in the likely event that the truth comes out (he claims he's very honest in programs) and his company's CEO doesn't want his company to be associate with an unpopular/hated ex-president. A classic merry-go-round blame game: that is the true story. For fans, stop worrying as the old adage of PR goes, "There is no such thing as bad publicity."
i've just finish watching the video... aigo...DSP really get into my nerve rite now...they sure want to reduce KHJ popularity b4 he could end his contract... may god protect him... :'(
I am so shocked after watching this video.. DSP should do something, I really feel sorry for KHJ he is just a victim,but I still hope and pray that this thing will be end as soon as possible...
it's really impossible to go to such event without getting invitation.. that was the EX-President of the country. KHJ is REALLY A VICTIM here. what was his management thinking??? the only thing we could do......
Acctually, no one really care about this issue (well of course aside the fans).. KHJ is not THAT famous, he's not in the same league as DBSK, JDG, SHK,etc. He's not much of an A-lister, still more of Bplus celebrity.. its not a really big deal as all the fans perch about, everyone in Korea is crazy about SNSD and 2PM now, so this little news, doesn't even bother them.. Sorry but that's the fact.
yeah...ssorry for the fact that we here are EXTREMELY WORRY about him. so daga! find ur own suitable blogs.. you must be an illiterate as u don't even now that this blog is about KIM HYUN JOONG and HWANGBO HYE JUNG only. so of course we here would discuss about them again n again!
Ok..I think this spot here is suppose to be in response to the video (issue of KHJ and DSP). Whether the right thing was making it. Correct me if I am wrong. In my opinion, maybe it doesn't matter to Koreans in general of what happened. But someone made an issue out of it through the media. Because of sensitive nature of it and the ex-president and those who still despise him because of past history, our prince got caught in it. But I am extremely happy he had the courage to tell the truth. We can't just ramble on and throw words out in to the air without taking care of others culture. I don't think making the video was the right thing to do, but then by doing so it united the millions of fans on the internet and hopefully we'll just ignore negativity because of his true nature. That is my 2 cents lol.
heeeh~ i so do not get this. i mean first, why are the people making such a big fuss over that issue...HYUNJOONG ATTENDING THE PARTY..--is it that bad or something? is he banned from doing that? is it a sin? i'm stupid yeah.

I'm scared of that.. being a DBSK fan, it's really difficult when company and artist clash ^^;;
