So, all this Jeju Island talk convinced me to rewatch the "farewell episode." Which of course, spurred an epic discussion with the fiancee. The fool had the audacity to point out that I was tearing up again even though it was my "billionth" time watching it. I told him it's because the backgound music fit so perfectly well with the heart felt messages, that and Hwangbo's gut wrenching speech can make any grown person cry. To which he rolled his eyes and said "you should be happy for them because they found each other, became friends, helped each other grow and fostered happy memories. It doesn't matter if they are together now or ever because for a time they had each other. Besides, your boy KHJ's speech was just as thoughtful, if not more then Hwangbo's. It showed that he truly understood her. Isn't that what ya'll girls are always crying about, guys not understanding? He wanted the world to see her through his eyes not just the brave front she puts on. He told her he felt that she was god sent ON TV for god sake. The dude does not like cheesy shit but he made a damn star and stuck it on his chest. What more does he have to say or do to prove to you crazy Joongbo fans that he cared? It's like your first love, you're not with them but hell you never forget them. So what if they are not together, they will always have each other...in their memories at least. Damn, can we watch the Colts play some football or what? Btw, you better not be quoting me in the blog."
